The other night, Joel and I were going to enjoy a glass of wine before bed. But the corkscrew broke. See below:
So, we had to figure out what to do. First, we tried using a needle nose
pliers to gain some leverage on the broken corkscrew. Then, we were going to chisel away at the cork. But, then Joel used his cool knife and the embedded corkscrew to shimmy it out.
Finally, the cork came out and we were able to enjoy a little wine. I think we deserved after the hard work it took to get the cork out. :) The wine was good, thanks Katie, JP and Ryan. (We forgot to toast the New Year.)
