Sayings

Setting:
The other day Kyper, Anja and I were playing in the basement.  Kyper was hiding from monsters and ghosts.  I told him he could be a ghost and monster hunter.  He proceeds to do this and then says...

"This is just a job for me, it is not pleasant for Anja."

Note: pleasant came out more like peasant, which made it even funnier.

Setting:
We were just done eating and going to pray.  Three things to make note of 1. Kyper is at the end of potty training (lets just say he is still working on going poo poo on the potty.  2. He is really into animals.  3. His best friend is named Frank and Frank's sister is Sadie.

His prayer was, "Thank you Jesus for lions, tigers, wolves and animals.  Be with Kyper's poo, mommy's poo, daddy's poo, Frankie's poo, Sadie's Poo, Frankie's mommy's poo.  Amen"

Setting:
We had just come home from a hockey game where Kyper was able to go trick or treating.  He was showing us his loot.

"This is definitely too much candy."

Kyper is really getting into dinosaurs. So, he says to me that a certain type of dinosaur (he said the name, but I don't know how to pronounce it let alone spell it) was the biggest on North America. I said "Did you know we live in North America" He didn't believe me, so I explained how dinosaurs lived here a long long time ago and we live here now. And here is the gem:
"Well, the dinosaurs are going to come back to North America and we will have to move to"...wait for it..."Zeeland"

Setting:
Playing in the bath tub.  I was calling him Kyper sir.
K: "I'm not Kyper Sir, I am King"
M: "oh, you are King Kyper?"
K: "Yes, and you are majesty."

Setting:
Driving to Holland for Thanksgiving and explaining my maiden name.
M: "I used to be Julie Koning, but then I married your dad, so I am Julie Phillips.  Anja, a long, long time from now might meet a boy and get married and then change her name."
K: "Anja can't get married"
M: "Anja can't get married, why not?"
K: "I'd miss her"

Background/setting:
Over Christmas we spent some time at Aren and Leah's new house.  They don't have kids, so they don't have a ton of toys, but they do own the movie Wall-E.  I asked Aren if he thought Kyper would like it and Aren said yes.  Well, Kyper didn't like it and he kind of freaked out about it (clung to me).  Well, we got back home to Dearborn and one morning I was getting him dressed.  He has cartoon underwear, including Wall-E underwear.
Kyper: "I only like Wall-E on my underwear, momma, not on the movie."
