BABY!!!

We had our 20 week (routine) ultrasound this past Tuesday.  We have a pretty active little one, although I didn't need an ultrasound to figure that one out.  We did not find out the gender.  We chose not to and are looking forward to the surprise come May.  The above is one of my favorite pictures of the baby.  Below you will see what the tech called a beautiful, textbook heart.   I am so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far.

I get to have another ultrasound at my next appointment too.  The minute the tech went to measure Tator Tot's brain, s/he flipped and did not flip back.  So, the doctors want/need that measurement.  Therefore, another ultrasound.  I joke that the baby must know it isn't a firstborn and potentially could be a middle child--therefore it wants pictures by him/herself when s/he can get them. :)  I am not worried about not getting a measurement.  I'm actually kind of excited to have another chance to see this little one.

In other news we are ready for this Christmas season.  Kyper helped dad make chex mix.  We also plan on making some Christmas cookies this week with friends.

I don't have any pictures of our tree (probably will get some on Christmas morning).  But Joel did take pictures of our stockings.
