I had a lot of fun there. Some highlights included:
1. A Phillips family baby shower. A huge thank you goes out to Joel's mom who hosted it. She put a lot of work into it and it was a lot of fun. It was neat, because I got to see an old college frined, Becky, who I hadn't seen in years. She happened to be in town for her brother's graduation. My niece Peyton was also very fun to have at the party, because she kept asking people where the baby was. She was very confused because there was no baby, but we all kept talking about the baby and the presents for the baby. We had to repeatedly tell her that the baby was still in my tummy and soon she would have another cousin to play with.
2. The annual Memorial Day Breakfast at the beach with the Rosema family and friends occured. We had good food and good times. It was a beautiful morning at the beach. We walked out to the end of the pier and waved hello to Joel via the webcam!
3. Joel's older brother and sister-in-law were in town from VA. We don't get to see them often, so it was great to see them.
4. Joel's cousins just had a new baby. So, we got to meet little Weston! He is a cutie!
5. I got to spend time with my grandparents, parents, and siblings. It was really nice to see my younger borther before he headed to WI for the summer.
Here are a few pictures from the trip:
