The Farmers' Market

One of my favorite things to do in Des Moines is going to the downtown Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings. We had the pleasure of taking both sets of parents downtown to experience this as well. My parent's came out in May and went with us and a few weeks ago we brought Joel's parents. Below are some pictures from the Farmers' Market. When we went with Joel's parents peaches were in season. They were sooo good! We decided to do breakfast at the Farmers' Market, so Joel's mom and I each got a breakfast burrito (yummy!) and Joel and Joel's dad got El Salvadoran Papusas. We all enjoyed are selections immensly. The downtown Farmers' market is very large 7 blocks total!

We like the Saturday one and the Thursday evening one in Valley Junction! The Thursday one is pretty festive.

Hey Julie,
The pictures make me miss the Holland farmer's market! I guess there's a farmer's market here all the time though, and we have pupusas too!
We miss you guys!
